Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope were held via Web Conference, Port Hope, Ontario


The Special Council meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m.

Mayor Sanderson acknowledged that this meeting was being held on the traditional territory of the Mississauga Nations.

    That Staff Report CS-07-22 re: Dissolution of Joint Animal Control Municipal Service Board / Transfer of Property and Animal Services to the Northumberland Humane Society be referred to By-laws.

    NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT By-law 26/2022 being a By-law being A By-Law to Authorize the Execution of an Agreement for the purposes of dissolving the Joint Animal Control Municipal Services Board and the Sale of Real Property be read a first and second time.

    NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT By-law 27/2022 being a By-law to Authorize Execution of a Service Contract between the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope and the Northumberland Humane Society for Animal Control Services be read a first and second time.

    NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT By-laws 26/2022 and 27/2022 be read a third time, passed and that the said By-law be signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed with the seal of the Corporation, and engrossed in the By-law Book.
