Wills & Associates; andWHEREAS the subject property on Block 2 of 121 Cavan Street poses immediate safety concerns;NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approve the issuance of a heritage permit for the demolition of Block 2 of the structure at 121 Cavan Street as identified in Attachment 4 of PS-06-24; AND FURTHER THAT Staff be directed to include provisions in the heritage permit that a municipally contracted engineer be authorized to supervise the demolition in order to ensure compliance with the provisions of the demolition permit issued for Block 2, with a commitment to ensure that the demolition does not exceed the immediate threat to public safety as determined by a municipally contracted structural engineer.See Following MotionAmendment:Moved byCouncillor AttridgeSeconded byMayor HankivskyThat the main motion be amended by adding the words "elements of" before "subject property" in the third sentence of the motion.
